The Annual Greeneville Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 7 starting at 2pm. The theme for the parade this year is Christmas in Paradise.
The parade route will change from the last few years to the following route: starting at Main Street and Bohannon intersection, making a left turn at East McKee Street, making a left turn at College Street, and ending at Greeneville High School. Anyone with a large vehicle is advised to drive the parade
Leading off the parade this year will be The Auction Clydesdales with their wagon and support team. The Clydesdales team will host a media day at the Greene County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, December 2 at noon. The public is invited to attend.
The parade marshals will be the state championship WGMS Volleyball Team, GHS Baseball Team, GHS Girls’ Golf Team and GHS Boys’ Track Team. If another team wins a state championship before the parade, they will be added to the parade marshal lineup.
Due to concerns with liability and public safety, no candy or other materials will be permitted to be thrown or handed out at the parade.
IMPORTANT INFO - YOUR REGISTRATION CONFIRMS YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
1. No candy or other items will be thrown OR handed out by my group.
2. My group will not include a Santa Claus.
3. My group will decorate our float/vehicle.
